Prices are per person except the private charter, and they are the real price on the first date each tour could be booked, checked on 7 November 2026. A handful of newer listings with few or no reviews start lower, from about $38.
What the tour price includes
On every shared tour we review, the price covers hotel pickup in the main zones, the speedboat, a guide, life jackets, snorkel mask and tube, drinking water and fruit, and lunch: usually a buffet on Phi Phi Don or, on the early birds, on Bamboo Island. Most also include travel insurance.
What it leaves out is the same almost everywhere: the park fee, fins (some operators rent them), tips and alcohol. The private charter is the odd one out, because lunch is extra there too.

Prices move with the date and the option, so check yours on the calendar before you compare. One thing to watch: the shared-or-private listing carries “Private” in its full title, but its $89 option is a shared boat. Its private options for two people were $335 each.
The extra costs on the day
The national park fee is the big one. It is 400 THB per adult and 200 THB per child for the Hat Noppharat Thara – Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park, covers Maya Bay, Pileh Lagoon, Phi Phi Don and Bamboo Island for the day, and on most tours is paid in cash to the guide. The semi-private tour from Thalassa is the only one we review that includes it. Operators set the children’s rate by age, for example 4 to 11 on the GR Rungtawan listing, so check the rule on your booking.
Tonsai Pier on Phi Phi Don has its own small charge, about 20 THB per person, if you land there. Several tours stop near Tonsai for lunch; ask the guide whether it is covered.
Pickup surcharges apply outside each operator’s free zone:
- Oh-Hoo’s Maya Bay, Bamboo & Phi Phi Day Tour: THB 100 per person, round trip, from Krabi Town, Klong Muang or Tubkaek.
- Krabi Vip Tour’s small-group tour: $107 instead of $89 with pickup from Klong Muang, Tubkaek or Krabi Town.
- Thalassa’s semi-private tour: free at its Ao Nang meeting points; a private transfer from Railay costs THB 850 for one to three people, from Krabi Town or Klong Muang THB 1,100, from Tubkaek THB 1,300.
- The private charter: THB 500 extra for a pickup before 07:00, and lunch THB 280 per person.

The children’s tour price varies by operator and age, so the family total depends on your booking; the calendar shows it once you enter the ages. Several tours do not take children under 2 or 3, and the Srisawat buffet tour excludes anyone under 120 cm.
The private boat, shared out
The Private Phi Phi Speedboat Charter is priced for the boat, $566 for up to 12 people. Split four ways that is about $142 each, split six ways about $94, and split ten ways about $57, each plus the 280 THB lunch and the park fee. At six people that is $94 a head before lunch and the park fee, against $116 on the semi-private tour with the park fee included, and every extra person brings the share down. Phi Phi tour packages from Krabi
Search for a “Krabi Phi Phi tour package” and you mostly find these same day tours with extra stops added. The early birds are the common package: Phi Phi in the morning, then the Krabi 4 Islands (Tup, Chicken and Poda) on the way back, for $74 to $79. The sunset tours add a BBQ dinner on Ko Poda and a night swim with plankton near Krabi; the sunset and the plankton happen there, not at Phi Phi. The shared-or-private listing also sells a private Phi Phi and Hong Island day. For two separate days, booking two tours gives you more choice of operator and time.
Which price level makes sense?
For a first visit on a normal budget, I would pay the standard $50 for the Phi Phi Speedboat Tour with Lunch, or $47 for Sea Eagle’s tour if every dollar counts. The early bird at $79 is where I would spend more, for the earlier arrival at Maya Bay (is the early bird worth it?). Couples who dislike crowds might look at the small-group tours, and groups of six or more at the private boat. Which tour to book compares them on more than price.
