How Railay guests board
The boat starts on the mainland. Sea Eagle’s early bird collects hotels in Krabi Town, Klong Muang, Ao Nam Mao and Ao Nang between 6:00 and 6:30, takes about 20 minutes by speedboat to Railay East floating pier to pick up the remaining guests, then heads to Maya Bay. So your boarding time is later than the Ao Nang pickup time, and the operator sends it once you book.
Railay East is the side with the pier. On Railay West there is no pier, and boats there land on the beach, so walk across to the east side for these tours. Tonsai Bay guests do the same: Sea Eagle does not collect at Tonsai Bay, and its listings ask Railay and Tonsai guests to meet at the floating pier. The sunset catamaran names the spot as the end of Railay East Blue Pier.
Allow a little time to walk there with a day bag, and bring cash for the park fee: 400 THB per adult and 200 THB per child, extra on every tour on this page.

Sea Eagle’s budget Phi Phi, Maya Bay & Bamboo Island trip ($47, 4.4 from 3,941) stops at Railay East floating pier for about 15 minutes. One low review describes six people sitting outside at the front after the Railay pickups filled the boat, so a Railay booking on a busy day may not get the best seats. Our review →
The Phi Phi Speedboat with Buffet Lunch ($47, 4.6 from 1,052) asks Railay hotel guests to wait at the Railay East floating pier. The sunset and plankton tour has a Railay meeting point at 11:30, and Sea Eagle’s private charter picks up at the same pier, at $566 per boat for up to 12.
Two tours do not serve Railay. Guide Kratae’s sunset tour with BBQ dinner and Krabi Sunset Tours’ sunrise and shark nursery tour both state no pickup from Railay or Tonsai. To join one, you would take a longtail to the mainland first and be picked up there, which is hard to arrange before a 06:00 start.
The small-group tours treat Railay as an option. The Phi Phi Small Group Tour has an Ao Nang and Railay pickup option at $89, and Thalassa’s semi-private tour offers a private round trip from Railay for THB 850 for one to three people.
Railay to Phi Phi without a tour
If you want to move to Phi Phi Don rather than come back the same day, Railay Eco Tour runs a Railay to Phi Phi speedboat transfer from Railay East pier to Tonsai pier in about 40 minutes, with morning and afternoon departures. It was $30 per person on 8 November 2026 and has 4.8 from 46 reviews. There is no hotel transfer on Railay, so you carry your own bags to the pier.
