About This Experience

Sea Eagle’s early bird follows the same idea as the other early bird tours from Krabi, for a little less: $74 per person on the dates we checked in early November 2026, rated 4.7 from 996 reviews. Pickup runs from 06:00 to 06:30 in Krabi Town, Klong Muang, Ao Nam Mao and Ao Nang, with a breakfast snack box for the ride. The boat makes a 20-minute hop to Railay East floating pier for more guests, then runs about 40 minutes to Maya Bay.

Maya Bay comes first, early in its opening hours; it opens at about 7 am, so this is an early visit, not a sunrise one. Then Pileh Lagoon for a swim and snorkel, Viking Cave and Monkey Bay from the boat, and a buffet lunch at Arida Restaurant on Phi Phi Don at around 11:00, followed by snorkeling off Phi Phi Don. Bamboo Island gets about 45 minutes, and the way home crosses Krabi’s 4 Islands: a photo at Chicken Island, the Talay Waek sandbar that appears as the tide drops, and a final swim at Ko Poda.

It suits travelers who want the early start and the 4 Islands stops, and Railay guests who like that their pier is on the route. The boat has two engines and 30 to 40 seats depending on bookings, so it is a full-size group.

The lower-rated reviews mostly say the beat-the-crowds promise did not hold on their day, the boat was packed, and there was too little to eat or drink before the early start. Several other reviewers found Maya Bay quiet when they arrived and the time at each stop about right.

The national park fee is extra: 400 THB per adult and 200 THB per child, in cash. Have small notes ready, as one reviewer’s guide struggled to give change.

What Travelers Say

Nee was absolutely amazing! She's very dedicated, helpful and positive which made that day special. I loved how everything was organized, I had enough time on each island and stop to experience it. I can recommend it for solo travellers, Nee took my pictures🙏 if I could I would do it again!

Cookie was an excellent Guide i'd give her 150 out of 100, very knowledgeable. The crew on board were amazing. I have an injury & they really helped me get on & off the boat. Although we encountered rain towards the end of the trip, it was funny & added to the experience. Cookie hid from the rain whilst the 4 of us outside embraced it.
