About This Experience

Sea Eagle’s speedboat day is one of the cheapest ways to see Phi Phi from Krabi with lunch included: $47 per person on the dates we checked in early November 2026. It also has close to 4,000 reviews (3,941, rated 4.4). Vans and trucks collect from hotels in Ao Nang, Krabi Town, Ao Nam Mao, Klong Muang and Tubkaek, and the boat calls at Railay East floating pier for guests staying on Railay or Tonsai before the 45-minute run to Phi Phi.

The route covers Loh Samah Bay and about 50 minutes at Maya Bay, then Pileh Lagoon, a snorkeling stop off Phi Phi Leh, Viking Cave and Monkey Bay from the boat, a buffet lunch at Arida Restaurant 2 on Phi Phi Don and an hour on Bamboo Island. The crew change the order each day to suit the tides. At Pileh you can pay extra on the spot for a longtail ride through the lagoon.

Maya Bay is a walk-in visit: the boat moors at Loh Samah and you cross on foot. Swimming and snorkeling are not allowed at Maya, so you will paddle at most. The lunch buffet is halal-certified and has vegetarian dishes.

Crowd size is where it falls short. Reviewers describe 30 to 40 people on board, a few left sitting outside at the front after the Railay pickup, slow head counts, a late start while the group assembled, and Maya Bay busy enough that one called it a zoo. A full boat on a rough day is hard going if you get seasick. It suits travelers who want the classic route for little money and do not mind sharing it; the guides get plenty of praise for keeping the day organised.

The national park fee is extra: 400 THB per adult and 200 THB per child, paid at the point of entry. Tips and alcohol are not included.
